Note 		Placing John (Jack Knight) before Albert & Phoebe's marriage is not an error - he was born before Albert & Phoebe were married.

Note 		At the time of the 1881 census, Albert Edward (7) and his three eldest siblings, Mary (21), Frederick (19) and John (18) spent the night with their maternal grandparents, Frederick Wooderson (79) and his wife, Mary (65) in Stanwell Village. Albert was at school, while Frederick & John were agricultural labourers. Alberts' father, William was in the workhouse (Staines Union Workhouse) - RG11 1329/143 p.5, along with his siblings William (14), Henry (11) and Arthur (9) - RG11 1329/143 p.1. Where was his mother, Elizabeth and his sister Anne (16)?


Note 		Things aren't adding up! According to newspaper article, he started at Staines Lino when 12 and stayed till he retired at 65. If so, what was going on around 1895 when John was born - living in Notting Hill according to marriage certificate.


Note 		In his early twenties, Albert had a second job delivering fish. Phoebe was the daughter of one of the customers on his delivery round.
