Probate

ANDREWS Richard Cecil of 5 Tennyson Road Ashford Middlesex died 1 December 1964 at Ashford Hospital Stanwell Middlesex Administration London 6 April to Mary Elizabeth Andrews widow. £1699.

Note

1891 address - W.L. District Road, the W.L. short for West London. West London District Road became West District Road, which in turn (early/mid 1900's), became Woodthorpe Road - there's still (Oct 2020) a pub called 'The District Arms'.
The land now occupied by HMP Bronzefield, was the site of the West London District School. The residential school, originally designed for 800 children, was completed in 1872 and served the parishes of St. George Hanover Square and Paddington together with Fulham Union.

Note

Richard's mother's father was called Joseph and she had a brother called Cecil - guess he must have been the favourite .
